En prenant appui sur le roman de Marguerite Duras, La maladie de la mort, il considère que le couple formé par la narratrice et son amant homosexuel est emblématique de cette impossibilité. Cet exemple révèle qu’il n’est de communauté sans imaginaire et que la loi et son sujet sont coextensifs, non pas de ou dans la communauté, mais comme communauté. |

| Summary, etc. | The Shadow of the Law. (Blanchot, Duras, Foucault)The notion of community is an experience of disappearance, which Maurice Blanchot calls “undisclosable”. It constantly shirks the process of being defined. Based on his interpretation of Marguerite Duras’ novel The Malady of Death, Maurice Blanchot considers that the couple made of the narrator and her homosexual lover exemplifies the impossibility to capture the meaning of community. This shows that there is no community without imaginary. The law and its subject are mutual extensions neither of a community nor in a community but as a community. |
