Summary, etc. | À Porto-Vecchio (Sud-Corse), comme dans toute l’île, la population ne peut plus se nourrir sur la seule base du système agri-alimentaire local. Premièrement, 90 % des aliments consommés proviennent de l’extérieur du territoire. Ensuite, les produits locaux sont vendus à bon prix (voire à un prix très élevé) aux 3,5 millions de touristes qui visitent l’île. Par conséquent, la population locale souffre d’une d’injustice alimentaire. Cette situation nous amène à nous interroger sur les moyens mis en œuvre par les acteurs locaux pour aborder le concept d’autonomie alimentaire du territoire – question d’autant plus pertinente dans le contexte actuel de la crise du COVID-19 et du récent changement politique dans la municipalité de Porto-Vecchio. En effet, alors que semble s’installer un mouvement durable de territorialisation de l’alimentation se pose la question suivante : entre les initiatives locales et l’engagement politique de la nouvelle collectivité, l’autonomie alimentaire peut-elle être un concept pertinent pour penser le développement durable comme une nouvelle voie de développement pour cette communauté locale ? |

Summary, etc. | In Porto-Vecchio (South Corsica), as in the entire island, the inhabitants can no longer feed themselves solely on the local agri-food system. Firstly, 90% of the food consumed comes from outside the territory. Secondly, local products are sold at a good price (or even a very high price) to the 3.5 millions of tourists who visit the island. As a result, the local population suffers from food injustice. This situation leads us to question the means implemented by local actors to address the concept of food autonomy of the territory – a question that is all the more relevant in the current context of the COVID-19 crisis and the recent political change in the municipality of Porto-Vecchio. Indeed, while a sustainable movement of food territorialisation seems to be taking place, the following question arises: between local initiatives and the political commitment of the new community, can food autonomy be a relevant concept to think about sustainable development as a new development path for this local community? |
