| Summary, etc. | La durée de la gestation de la furette est de 41 à 42 jours, sa contention sur le dos pendant l’examen est difficile. Avec une sonde linéaire de 12,5 MHz, les vésicules embryonnaires apparaissent au 15e jour, les embryons sont visibles dès le 18e jour, les 2 disques placentaires forment une ceinture complète autour du fœtus le 20e jour.Les côtes sont décelées dès le 30e jour, mais l’ossification est insuffisante pour projeter des ombres acoustiques dans les jours précédents le terme sauf au niveau des scapulas où elles apparaissent au 33e jour. |

| Summary, etc. | The gestation duration of the ferret is between 41 and 42 days. To restrain the ferret on its back can sometimes be difficult. With a 12,5 MHz linear probe, the embryonic vesicle is visible from day 15 of the gestation and the embryo can be seen from day 18. The two placenta discs form a full ring around the foetus at day 20. The ribs are visible from day 30 but the ossification is not sufficient to project acoustic shadows during the days preceding the birth, except for the scapulas whose acoustic shadows appear at day 33. |
