Summary, etc. | La loi de février 2005 « pour l’égalité des droits et des chances, la participation et la citoyenneté des personnes handicapées » garantit le droit à la scolarisation des élèves en situation de handicap. Elle fait apparaître, dans le quotidien de l’école, une nouvelle fonction, celle d’Auxiliaires de vie scolaire (AVS). Se pose dès lors la question de leur formation et de leur professionnalisation. Dans cet article, nous présentons un dispositif de recherche et d’actions, inscrit dans le programme national « Respect » (Réseau de l’économie sociale et solidaire pour l’égalité des chances et la conciliation des temps). Il vise à accompagner et à outiller les AVS dans l’adaptation de la scolarisation des élèves en situation de handicap. Ce projet s’est développé selon plusieurs axes, articulant actions de formation, réflexion et structuration de l’emploi, recherche empirique sur les pratiques effectives en classe. Il a mené à diverses productions dont un référentiel emploi, un référentiel de compétences AVS, un film documentaire valorisant la recherche. |

Summary, etc. | The law of February 11, 2005 “ for the equality of rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship of disabled persons” guarantees the right to schooling of pupils in the situation of disability. This law entails, in everyday activities in schools, a new function, educational auxiliaries (Auxiliaires de vie scolaire - AVS). The question of their training and professionalization thus arises. In this article we present a system of research and action, in the framework of the national program “ Respect” (network of social and solidary economy for equal opportunity and reconciliation of times). Its purpose is to provide support and tools for educational auxiliaries in adapting the schooling of pupils in a situation of disability. This project has been developed along several guidelines, coordinating training, discussion and job-structuring initiatives as well as empirical research on real classroom practices. The project has led to various productions, including a list of jobs, a list of educational auxiliary skills, and a documentary film highlighting research. |
