Summary, etc. | L’institut Gustave Baguer est un établissement médico-social qui scolarise des élèves sourds et malentendants depuis 1894. Actuellement, cent quatre-vingts enfants et adolescents de zéro à vingt ans y sont accueillis et bénéficient d’un suivi éducatif, de rééducations, d’une scolarité adaptée. Cet article présente la réflexion d’une équipe pluridisciplinaire travaillant dans une unité d’enseignement intégrant les élèves dans un lycée professionnel, sorte d’instantané de l’inclusion, après cinq années de fonctionnement. Il tente d’analyser de quelle façon la situation intégrative évolue progressivement vers l’inclusion par le biais de la médiation et présente les moyens mis en œuvre pour aider les jeunes à s’insérer professionnellement. |

Summary, etc. | The Institut Gustave Baguer is a medical-social institution that has provided schooling to deaf and hearing impaired pupils since 1894. At present 180 children and adolescents from zero to 20 years of age are accommodated there, and receive supervised education, reeducation, and adapted schooling. This article presents the ideas of a multidisciplinary team working in a teaching unit integrating the pupils in a vocational secondary school, a sort of snapshot of inclusion, after five years of activity. The article seeks to analyze how a situation of integration gradually moves toward inclusion through mediation, and also presents the resources used to help young people to achieve professional insertion. |
