| Summary, etc. | La réponse à la question de la place des familles dans la prise en charge d’enfants avec autisme semble actuellement établie, à savoir que les parents sont des partenaires indispensables du soin, tant sur la question évidente du projet de soin et d’orientation, que sur la connaissance de leur enfant et la façon dont il est nécessaire de l’appréhender. Néanmoins, dans les faits, il est parfois difficile de créer une manière adéquate, confortable pour les soignants et les parents d’intégrer ces derniers aux soins de leur enfant. Nous présentons dans cet article la façon dont les équipes de notre hôpital de jour travaillent au quotidien avec les familles ; nous partageons une partie de notre cheminement et exposons différentes modalités d’accueil des familles. |

| Summary, etc. | It is now a commonly shared idea that parents have to be considered as key stakeholders in an autistic child’s care: they are very concerned by their child’s care evolution and project, they have a good inside knowledge of their child and they can tell from experience how to behave with him. Therefore, the remaining question is not whether the parents should be involved in the caregiver’s team or not but how could we have them on board in an efficient and satisfactory way. Here is the difficult part. This article aims to present several practices caregivers at our hospital have put in place in our day-care activity involving parents. We would like to share the different steps we have gone through so far and to describe possibilities we have identified in order to welcome families. |
