Summary, etc. | Le rééducateur de l’Éducation nationale ne ré-éduque pas l’enfant, loin de là. Il rencontre, il accompagne, il met en mots, il crée les conditions de la confiance en soi ainsi qu’envers les autres, il entend la nécessité de nouer ou renouer des liens solides pour pouvoir se mettre au travail à l’école. Il œuvre pour que l’accès au monde des symboles arrive à se constituer. Par une stratégie de détours et en utilisant des médiations ludiques, il fait en sorte qu’existent des passerelles entre des réalités qui, jusqu’à présent, ne pouvaient être reliées.Son travail d’enseignant spécialisé consiste à accompagner le sujet-élève dans ses allers et retours entre le passé et le présent, la maison et l’école, la personne privée et la personne sociale. Le rééducateur est un pédagogue au sens étymologique du terme : « celui qui conduit les enfants à l’école ». |
