Summary, etc. | Nous avons évalué les effets d’un dispositif de formation d’enseignants spécialisés du premier degré, dans le domaine de l’adaptation scolaire et de la scolarisation des élèves handicapés. Les résultats montrent les effets significatifs de la formation sur les quatre niveaux d’impact étudiés (les réactions des stagiaires, leurs apprentissages, leurs comportements et les résultats) et donnent des pistes pour son optimisation. Ils révèlent que le dispositif est efficace pour transformer les pratiques ordinaires en véritables pratiques spécialisées, pour faire évoluer les enseignants « généralistes » en enseignants « spécialistes » et donnent de nouveaux arguments pour réfléchir à la professionnalisation et au métier d’enseignant spécialisé. |

Summary, etc. | We have conducted an evaluation of a in-service training program to become special educational needs teachers. The results show the beneficial effects of the training on the four different impact levels studied (reactions of students, learning, skills and behaviors, results) and give new ideas for improving the training. They show the strong effectiveness of the device to change ordinary practices into really expert ones, to convert generalist teachers into specialist ones. They also provide new arguments to think about vocational training of special educational needs teachers. |
