| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose une réflexion sur le développement des pratiques préventives en milieu scolaire pour faire face au phénomène de la violence à l’école. Pour mieux comprendre le contexte dans lequel ces interventions sont pratiquées, un bref portrait de la situation qui prévaut au Québec est d’abord brossé à l’aide de données issues de la recherche pour mesurer cette violence. À partir d’une incursion dans l’histoire scolaire des trente dernières années, il sera par la suite possible de distinguer les efforts qui ont été faits par les différents ministères et organismes communautaires qui se sont intéressés à la prévention de cette violence en milieu éducatif. Puisqu’actuellement l’approche préventive s’étend de plus en plus dans les milieux scolaires québécois, quelques programmes d’intervention sont finalement présentés pour illustrer certaines pratiques exemplaires en prévention de la violence en milieu scolaire. |

| Summary, etc. | This article proposes a reflection on the development of the preventive practices in schools to face the phenomenon of the violence in school. To have a best understanding of the context in which these interventions are practised, a brief portrait of the situation which prevails in Quebec is brushed at first by data from the research to measure this violence. From a raid in the school history of the last 30 years, it will afterward be possible to distinguish the efforts which were made by the various ministries and community bodies which were interested in the prevention of this violence in educational context. According to the preventive approach extends more and more in the Quebecois school circles, some programs of intervention are finally presented to illustrate certain best practices in prevention of the violence in schools. |
