Summary, etc. | La langue maternelle des élèves scolarisés dans l’ouest de la Guyane est majoritairement le Bushinengué, à base lexicale anglaise.Langue orale, langue familiale, langue de référence pour le groupe d’appartenance, elle vient buter sur le français, langue d’écrit, langue des apprentissages abstraits, langue de pouvoir, langue de l’intégration sociale.Cela entraîne des difficultés pour les enseignants, notamment pour articuler les apprentissages en français avec les élèves. Il conviendrait donc d’innover du point de vue des pratiques pédagogiques, dans la mesure où les techniques d’enseignement classiques proposées sont souvent en inadéquation avec le public visé.Nous nous sommes intéressé dans cette étude à quatre Segpas (Sections d’enseignement général et professionnel adapté) de l’ouest guyanais scolarisant majoritairement des élèves Bushinengué.Si ces derniers, allophones au départ, doivent relever le défi d’un apprentissage et d’un enseignement en classe essentiellement dispensés en français, les conditions pour leur faciliter cette tâche supposent une véritable prise en compte de la langue et de la culture familiales. Cela suppose un pilotage du directeur adjoint chargé de Segpa qui privilégie la mise en relation de tous les usagers et partenaires utiles, ainsi qu’un étayage fort de son équipe. |

Summary, etc. | The mother tongue of pupils in western French Guyana is predominantly the Bushinengué, based English vocabulary.Oral language, home language, language reference for the group membership, it comes up against the French, language of writings, abstraction, power; language of social empowerment.This causes difficulties for teachers, including learning to articulate in French with students. They have therefore to be innovative in terms of educational practices.We are interested in this study with four Segpas (Sections of general and vocational adapted teaching) in which a majority of students are Bushinengue.If they face the challenge of learning in French, the conditions to facilitate their task require a serious consideration of the language family and culture. This implies a control of the director responsible for Segpa that emphasizes the linkage of all users and partners, and a strong underpinning of his team. |
