Summary, etc. | Cet article présente l’évolution de l’« observatoire expérimental de la prévention et des actions éducatives » implanté à Gentilly dans le Val-de-Marne. Ce dispositif a mobilisé, aux côtés des chercheurs, une vingtaine d’institutions. À l’origine, les préoccupations autour du décrochage scolaire ont constitué un élément fédérateur entre des acteurs soucieux de préserver une conception éducative du traitement des problèmes de l’enfance et de la jeunesse face à des logiques politiques contraires. La construction collective d’une méthodologie de travail a mis à jour différents types de confusion pour déboucher ensuite sur une représentation commune de la question du décrochage scolaire, instaurer une confiance partenariale et favoriser ainsi diverses initiatives. Cependant, après trois années d’expérimentation, des évaluations et des suites globalement positives, la question de la modélisation du dispositif reste posée. |

Summary, etc. | This article presents the development of the “experimental observatory for prevention and educational actions” in Gentilly, Val-de-Marne, which mobilised alongside researchers, around twenty institutions. At the beginning, the preoccupations about school dropouts have been a unifying element between actors seeking to maintain an educational conception on how to treat problems concerning children and youths. Their goal was to fight against an opposite political logic. The collective construction of a working methodology has brought to light various types of confusion, which subsequently lead to a common representation of the issue of school dropouts, built trust, fostered partnerships and favoured initiatives. However, after three years of experimentation, in spite of findings and overall positive effects, the issue of modelling of the process remains. |
