Summary, etc. C’est un droit des enfants atteints de polyhandicap et de leurs familles de bénéficier des mêmes services scolaires que tous les enfants et d’y trouver les ressources spécialisées nécessaires à leur développement. Malheureusement, pour que l’inclusion dans les services ordinaires soit effective, il faut des moyens et un changement de paradigme politique et social. Grandir ensemble et accepter la différence signifie créer des modèles de prise en charge fondés sur des valeurs de respect mutuel et de solidarité. Il s’agit donc de créer des espaces d’apprentissage partagés, inclusifs, dans le but de favoriser le développement des capacités de chaque enfant, avec ou sans handicap. Pour ce faire, nous devons être capables de dessiner de nouveaux modèles d’école pour les jeunes enfants, qui se nourrissent des connaissances de professionnels de différentes disciplines, ce qui contribuera également à améliorer le système éducatif actuel.

Summary, etc. Having access to the same school services as all children and finding the specialized resources necessary for their development is a right for children with multiple disabilities and their families. Unfortunaly, the inclusive school requires resources and a change in political and social paradigm. Growing together and accepting difference means creating models of care based on values of mutual respect and solidarity. It is therefore a question of creating shared, inclusive learning spaces, with the aim of promoting the developement of the capacities for each child with or without handicap. To do is, we need to be able to design new school models for young children, who draw on the knowledge of professionals from different disciplines, which will also help improve the current education system.
