Summary, etc. | Cet article est issu d’une recherche réalisée auprès de deux équipes d’enseignants exerçant respectivement dans une école maternelle française et dans une école maternelle sénégalaise. L’auteure s’appuie sur sept entretiens semi-directifs menés auprès des professeurs et directeurs d’école pour étudier leurs représentations au sujet de leur prise en compte de la diversité des élèves dans leur contexte de travail. Quel que soit le pays, trois formes de représentations de l’altérité dans un contexte d’école inclusive ressortent des entretiens. |

Summary, etc. | This article is the result of a research carried out with two teams of teachers working in a French nursery school and in a Senegalese nursery school, respectively. The author relies on seven semi-directive interviews conducted with the teachers and principals to study their representations about embracing student diversity within their work context. Regardless of the country, three forms of representations of otherness in an inclusive education context have emerged from the interviews. |
