| Summary, etc. | L’objectif des méthodes d’adaptation du Tai Chi Chuan est de faciliter la rééducation des personnes handicapées, d’accroître leur bien-être et de leur permettre de rester en bonne santé. De nombreuses observations ont permis de conclure que la pratique du Tai Chi Chuan chez les personnes atteintes de troubles de l’audition, voire de troubles mentaux a suscité un souffle nouveau dans leur vie, de nouvelles aspirations et une implication sans précédent dus aux encouragements et au soutien moral qu’ils ont pu recevoir durant leur entraînement. Bien que le chemin soit encore long pour surmonter leur handicap au quotidien, cette nouvelle méthode a représenté une avancée spectaculaire dans leur vie. |

| Summary, etc. | The objective of methods to adapt Tai Chi Chuan is to facilitate the rehabilitation of disabled persons, to enhance their well-being and to enable them to remain in good health. Many observations have led us to conclude that the practice of Tai Chi Chuan by persons with hearing disorders, or even mental disorders, has given a new impetus to their lives, new aspirations, and unprecedented involvement due to the encouragement and motivation that they received during their training. Although the path is still long before they overcome their disability in their daily existence, this new method represents a spectacular step forward in their lives. |
