Summary, etc. | Cet article présente le témoignage d’une mère d’un garçon avec autisme qui a connu un parcours scolaire très chaotique, mais qui grâce au soutien de sa famille, se trouve aujourd’hui dans la classe ordinaire d’un lycée, accompagné par une AVS. Après avoir été scolarisé en milieu ordinaire dans sa petite enfance, à la suite d’un incident à l’école, il a connu un temps de déscolarisation puis a pu réintégrer un collège grâce à la détermination de sa famille. Il a passé le brevet des collèges avec succès alors qu’il lui avait été conseillé, au moment de l’adolescence, d’intégrer un établissement spécialisé. Il poursuit aujourd’hui sa scolarité en classe terminale dans un lycée technologique. |

Summary, etc. | This article presents the personal story of a mother of a boy with autism whose schooling was very chaotic, but who, thanks to his family’s support, is now in a mainstream class in a secondary school, where he is helped by a Classroom Assistant (AVS – Assistant de vie scolaire). After receiving education is a mainstream school in early childhood, he left school for a certain period because of an incident at school. He was then able to enter the first years of a secondary school thanks to his family’s determination. He successfully passed the certificate after the first years in secondary school although he had been advised to attend a specialized school when he was an adolescent.
