| Summary, etc. | Lorsqu’on bute sur un problème touchant à la littérature, il est recommandé d’ouvrir la grande boîte à outils que nous a laissée Genette. Car son œuvre constitue en la matière un organon si complet qu’il est bien rare qu’on n’y trouve pas de quoi, sinon résoudre le problème que l’on se pose, en tout cas contribuer à sa solution de manière décisive. Je voudrais montrer cette fécondité heuristique en faisant état de recherches cryptologiques en cours sur Proust, recherches qui n’auraient pas été bien loin sans les outils narratologiques forgés par Genette. |

His body of work constitues in itself an organon so complete that it is exceedingly rare for it to fails to hold either the answer to the problem or in any case an important contribution to its solution. I would like to show this heuristic fertility by reporting certain cryptologic research on Proust, research that would have quickly come to a halt if not for the narratological tools forged by Genette. |
