Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The main thesis of this article is apparently very simple: the so-called “school refusal“ is not an issue that relates exclusively to the children’s world. A form of refusal may be observed in the school body responsible for child education. Always ready to forget that the control that the school is inhabited by adults who work daily to its organization, we are accustomed to conceive the expression “school refusal” as an attitude concerning only the children. Here we ask more or less the opposite: that what would be the term “school refusal“, if we approach it as a problem of the school ant only of the child, if we look at school and adult system with child’s eyes? If some forms of refusal came from school? This article suggests this possibility. By analyzing a specific case, we show that forms of refusal to depart from the adult world to the child, that some of their misunderstandings can be read in the adult actors’ behavior. |
