L’article présente les écueils et les intérêts d’une recherche qui prend en compte « l’exceptionnel » dans le contexte de l’accès à l’université des jeunes IMC. |

Summary, etc. | The point of view which considers sociology as “a science of regular social trends and constants” isn’t open to the study of unusual situations such as that of an exception. As a result the limited literature and statistical data concerning students with cerebral motor disability, undertaking higher education studies, questions the legitimacy of a study on this subject. The article discusses the pitfalls and interests of a study which examines the aspect of “the exceptional” in the context of young people with a cerebral motor handicap attending university. |
