Summary, etc. | Cet article décrit l’élaboration d’une recherche participative en Haute-Corse et en Corse-du-Sud, dans le cadre d’un contrat entre l’Agence régionale de santé de Corse (ARS) et l’Institut national supérieur pour le handicap et les enseignements adaptés (INSHEA, devenu INSEI, l’Institut national supérieur pour l’éducation inclusive). Dans un contexte de difficultés d’accès au soin, en particulier dans le domaine de l’orthophonie, liées notamment à la configuration géographique de l’île, le projet AVI-Corse fait suite à une initiative de l’ARS s’inscrivant dans la proximité, pour mieux cerner les besoins des territoires. L’article décrit les premières étapes d’une étude participative donnant la parole aux familles. L’objectif visé est l’évaluation d’avatars parlants plus ou moins réalistes utilisant une technologie de synchronisation labiale automatique auprès d’enfants et de jeunes gens avec et sans difficultés de langage et de communication, dans la perspective d’utilisation d’une technologie similaire à la maison, en lien avec les soins orthophoniques en libéral. |

Summary, etc. | AVI-Corse: methodology and challenges of a participatory project Digital avatars, new tools for language and communication needsThis article describes a participatory research development project in Haute-Corse and Corse-du-Sud, within the framework of a contract between the Corsican Regional Health Agency (ARS) and the National Higher Institute for Training and Research on Inclusive Education (INSHEA, now known as INSEI). In a context of difficulties in accessing care, especially in the field of speech therapy, particularly related to the geographical configuration of the island, the AVI-Corsica project is the result of an initiative by the ARS to better identify the needs of the territories. The article describes the first steps of a participatory study that gave families a voice. The objective is the evaluation of more or less realistic talking avatars using automatic lip-synchronization technology with children and young people with and without language and communication difficulties, in the perspective of using a similar technology at home, in connection with speech therapy in private practice. |
