Summary, etc. | Le Trouble déficit de l’attention, avec ou sans hyperactivité (TDA/H) est un des troubles les plus fréquemment rencontré (3 à 8 % d’enfants d’âge scolaire) et ceci, quel que soit le pays ou le continent, avec une prédominance masculine nette (sex-ratio : 3 à 10/1). La consultation du neuropédiatre s’attachera à rechercher les facteurs de risque familiaux, personnels (génétiques et environnementaux), à établir un diagnostic positif avec les troubles associés, voire un diagnostic symptomatique ou différentiel, à travers l’anamnèse, l’étude détaillée des cahiers, des bulletins de toutes les années scolaires, des comptes rendus de tous les spécialistes qui ont déjà vu l’enfant, l’examen clinique, neurologique ( soft signs), en s’appuyant sur les critères diagnostiques du DSM IV2 (American Psychiatric Association, 2003), les échelles de Conners (Conners, 1990), les questionnaires de situation difficile de Barkley (Barkley, 1997). Les investigations prescrites permettront lors de la consultation de synthèse d’établir le diagnostic du TDA/H et des troubles associés, de proposer les prises en charge et thérapies utiles, ainsi que les aménagements scolaires et, parfois, un traitement psychostimulant. |

Summary, etc. | Attention deficit disorder, with or without hyperactivity (ADHD) is one of the most frequent disorders regardless of the country (3 to 8% children of school age), with a clear male predominance (sex ratio: 3 to 10/1). The consultation of the neuropediatrician will endeavor to find the family risk factors, personal factors (genetic and environmental), to establish a positive diagnostic with concurrent disorders, or a “ symptomatic” or differential diagnostic, through anamnesis, study of workbooks, grade sheets of all school years, accounts of all experts who have already seen the child, clinical examination, neurological examination (soft signs), based on the diagnostic criteria of DSM IV, Conners’scales, Barkley questionnaires. Investigations prescribes will allow to establish, during the next consultation, the diagnosis of ADHD and associated troubles, to propose useful therapies, school adjustments and sometimes a psychostimulant treatment. |
