| Summary, etc. | Le TDA/H affecte la sphère sociale de l’enfant de façon très marquée. Cette étude examine les impacts d’un programme d’interventions multidimensionnel de groupe sur les habiletés sociales des enfants ayant un TDA/H et leurs difficultés d’adaptation. Ce programme comporte trois volets: un programme d’interventions cognitives comportementales pour les enfants incluant des activités physiques et sociales, un programme d’entraînement aux habiletés parentales pour leurs parents et des activités conjointes permettant la pratique supervisée des stratégies apprises par les enfants et leurs parents. Vingt-quatre familles d’enfants de 6 à 12 ans ayant un TDA/H ont été réparties au hasard en deux groupes: intervention et liste d’attente. Les résultats montrent l’efficacité du programme sur les habiletés sociales des enfants, en particulier dans les situations nécessitant la coopération et le sens des responsabilités, et sur certaines difficultés d’adaptation en lien avec le TDA/H. La plupart des effets se maintiennent 16 semaines après le traitement. |

| Summary, etc. | This research was conducted in order to evaluate the impacts of a multimodal intervention program on children’s social skills and adjustment problems. This multimodal program combines cognitive-behavioural interventions for children with ADHD and their parents and joint activities for both groups, including physical and social activities. Twenty four families were randomly assigned to treatment or waiting group. Results demonstrated the effectiveness of the program on children’s social skills, particularly on situations requiring cooperation and responsibility. Some of the adjustment problems associated with ADHD was found to significantly decrease and some of the therapeutic gains were maintained after 16 weeks. |
