| Summary, etc. | L’auteure de cet article, mère de trois garçons atypiques dont le cadet, Koren, a été diagnostiqué TDA/H, nous livre, après avoir rapidement présenté ses deux frères, le récit de son parcours scolaire depuis la maternelle. Elle explique les difficultés qu’elle a rencontrées avant d’obtenir un diagnostic. La scolarisation de Koren à l’école élémentaire et son évolution sont présentées à travers les rapports des différents professionnels consultés. Il bénéficiera d’un traitement médicamenteux à la Ritaline qui lui permettra d’améliorer ses capacités d’attention. Aujourd’hui, alors qu’il a 14 ans, il est en 3e de collège et son hyperactivité a diminué. Ses résultats scolaires sont satisfaisants et cette réussite, il semble la devoir à sa mère qui s’est beaucoup impliquée dans l’accompagnement de sa scolarité. Il se prépare à passer son brevet des collèges : un parcours exemplaire donc, qui montre que, si le suivi est adapté, ces enfants peuvent s’en sortir. |

After presenting Koren’s two brothers, and then the story of Koren’s education starting with nursery school, she explains the difficulties that she met before obtaining a diagnosis. Koren’s education in elementary school and his development are presented in the reports of the different professionals consulted. He will receive a medical treatment with Ritalin, which will enable him to improve his capacity for attention. Koren is now 14 years old, he is in his third year of secondary school, and his hyperactivity has diminished. His grades are satisfactory, and he apparently owes this success to his mother, who provided great support to her son in his education.
