| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’éthique rend compte à la fois de la singularité du sujet et du rapport qui le noue au collectif prescrivant des coutumes et valeurs. Cette double nature peut, dans le cadre des pratiques sociales, se trouver contradictoire, entraînant des représentations paradoxales ou conflictuelles.L’éthique est-elle en mesure d’apporter une contribution spécifique à la résolution de cette problématique ? Le Comité départemental d’éthique, structure originale mise en place à titre expérimental par le département des Yvelines, tentera d’apporter une réponse. Il travaille à partir de situations qui lui sont adressées par des travailleurs sociaux ayant rencontré un empêchement à penser. Il s’agira de mettre par écrit un avis permettant l’ouverture d’un espace de transitionnalité. Comment retrouver la polysémie des mots, comment dénouer les paradoxes seront analysés à partir de procédures spécifiques élaborées par le comité. |

| Summary, etc. | Ethics convey at the same time uniqueness of a person and the way he or she is connected with a group stipulating customs and social values. These two features could be in contradiction within the framework of social practices, causing paradoxical and conflicting representations. Is ethics in a position to bring a specific contribution to sorting out these issues ? An original structure, the Departmental Committee on Ethics, set up on an experimental basis by Department of Les Yvelines will attempt to provide an answer. The Committee works on the bases of situations addressed to it by social workers who have encountered « thinking blockages ». The challenge of the Committee is to prepare written advice providing a transitional forum of thinking. How to get back the polysemy of words and the solution to the paradoxes will be analysed through specific ways to proceed developed by the Committee. |
