| Summary, etc. | RésuméCette recherche qualitative traite de l’impact de la sexualité dans la relation de soin ou d’aide sociale du point de vue des acteurs professionnels qui sont amenés à gérer quotidiennement différentes manifestations liées à la vie sexuelle des personnes qu’ils prennent en charge, mais sans pour autant y avoir toujours été formés. Il s’agit ici de comprendre comment ces professionnels construisent et s’approprient la sexualité comme objet de connaissance et d’intervention spécialisées. L’analyse thématique et lexicographique de 60 entretiens non directifs de recherche effectués en 2006 auprès de professionnels du secteur socio-sanitaire exerçant en Lorraine, révèle que la sexualité est déclinée selon 5 univers lexicaux (l’érotisation de la relation soignante et sa gestion, la sexualité des usagers en institutions, la médicalisation de la sexualité, les violences sexuelles sur enfants, la sexualité déviante des jeunes de banlieue) structurés autour de la figure centrale de « l’abus » qui appelle un travail d’encadrement normatif de la part des professionnels de santé et du travail social. |

| Summary, etc. | This qualitative research deals with the impact of sexuality in healthcare or social help relationships from the professionals’ point of view, as they are daily faced with various expressions linked to the sexual life of the people they are in charge of, without – in many cases – being trained for it. Our aim here is to understand how these professionals build and adapt sexuality as a subject for specialized knowledge and intervention. The thematic and lexicographical analysis of 60 in-depth interviews, made in 2006 among socio-medical professionals working in Lorraine, shows that sexuality is represented over 5 lexical fields (the eroticization of the relationship and how it is managed, the users’ sexuality when in institutions, the medicalization of sexuality, sexual violence on children, young people’s deviant sexuality in suburbs) developed around the central image of sexual « abuse » which calls for a prescriptive supervision type of work made by health professionals and social workers. |
