Summary, etc. |

Summary, etc. | The present international study aims to analyze the influence of inclusive schools on students’ behavior. It was hypothesized that students who lived in an integrated context with disabled peers perceived themselves as being more prosocial. A measurement scale of prosocial behaviors (Caprara, Steca et al., 2005) was distributed to students between 14 and 16 years of age. The study was carried out in two different countries (Italy and Brazil) using the same methodology. The study conducted on a sample of Brazilian students included an experimental group of 167 subjects (integrated) and a control group of 177 subjects (not integrated). The same study was conducted on a sample of Italian students and included an experimental group of 101 subjects and a control group of 79 subjects. In both groups (Brazil and Italy) who experienced integration, there was a greater perception of prosocial behavior as shown by the similar average score obtained (Brazil: 51,89 non-integrated vs 55,24 integrated) (Italy: 53,50 non-integrated vs 56,24 integrated). In general, the results show a significant difference between the two groups of Brazilian students (P 0,008). |
