Summary, etc. | Cette recherche visait à décrire les perceptions et le sentiment d’efficacité de futurs enseignants du Québec au regard de la compétence à communiquer à l’écrit dans les divers contextes de la profession. Une cohorte de finissants ( n=93) en enseignement en adaptation scolaire a été interrogée par questionnaire afin de décrire la contribution de la formation initiale et les stratégies mises en œuvre dans le développement de cette compétence au cours des quatre années d’études. Les principaux résultats montrent que près de 80 % des finissants affirment avoir amélioré cette compétence pendant la formation, mais ce n’est pas grâce à leurs cours. De ces futurs enseignants, 82 % se sentent efficaces au regard de la réalisation de tâches de la profession qui impliquent l’écrit. Toutefois le sentiment d’efficacité tend à diminuer lorsqu’il s’agit de développer la compétence à écrire des élèves et à écrire aux parents. |

Summary, etc. | This research was designed to gather perceptions and self-efficacy for future teachers of Quebec in terms of communicative competence in writing in the various contexts of the profession. A cohort of graduates ( n= 93) in special education instruction was interviewed by questionnaire to describe the contribution of the education and the strategies used in the development of this skill during the four years of study. The main results show that nearly 80% of graduates say they have improved this skill during training, but this is not thanks to their courses. These future teachers, 82% feel effective in relation to tasks of the profession that involve writing. However self-efficacy tends to decrease when it comes to develop the skill to write of students and write to parents. |
