| Summary, etc. | Le nombre d’Étudiants en situation de handicap (ÉSH) est en constante augmentation dans les universités québécoises. Cette augmentation est due principalement aux Étudiants en situation de handicap dit émergent (ÉSHÉ), c’est-à-dire ceux souffrant de troubles reliés à la santé mentale. Face à cette situation, le réseau de l’Université du Québec, qui regroupe 10 des 18 établissements universitaires québécois, a mis sur pied un groupe de travail portant sur la problématique des ÉSHÉ, le GT-ÉSHÉ. C’est en juin 2014 que le GT-ÉSHÉ remettait son rapport aux dirigeants du réseau. Cet article reprend une partie du rapport et offre une mise à jour de ses données. Sa première partie trace un portrait de l’évolution de la population étudiante souffrant de handicap ; tandis que sa deuxième partie traite des services qui leur sont offerts. Il offre ainsi un portrait de la situation des ÉSH dans l’ensemble du système universitaire québécois, mais plus particulièrement dans le réseau de l’université du Québec. |

| Summary, etc. | The number of students with disability is constantly increasing in Québec’s universities. This increase is mostly due to the higher number of students with what is usually called emerging disabilities, which are related to mental health issues. Confronted with this reality, the Université du Québec system – which regroup ten of the eighteen universities in Québec – created a working group on this problematic. In June 2014, the working group’s report was presented to the UQ system authorities. This article is based on a section of the report. Its first section shows the evolution of the student population with disability in Québec’s universities, while its second section concerns the services offered to them. Together, they present a portrait of the situation of students with disability in Québec’s universities, and particularly in the Université du Québec system. |
