Au confluent d’une psychologie qui se prétend scientifique et d’une organisation du travail qui n’en annonce pas moins se fabrique sur cette base une psychogestion des individus dont nous ne sommes pas encore débarrassés. Comment, en effet, saisir et caractériser les éléments qui objectiveront la personnalité d’un sujet et détermineront ses aptitudes, ses intérêts, ses motivations pour le mettre à sa « juste place » ? Comment finalement séparer le travail de l’homme pour faire de ce dernier la visée suprême de l’évaluation ? Cet article reprend la généalogie de cette tentative.
