| Summary, etc. | IntroductionLes technologies numériques dentaires de conception, simulation et fabrication sont en constante évolution. Il est possible de simuler numériquement des mouvements dentaires, ainsi que des déplacements des deux arcades et de réaliser des gouttières thermoformées fabriquées à partir de cette simulation. ObjectifLes auteurs présentent le couplage de la numérisation 3D intra-buccale avec la radiographie 3D de basses doses d'irradiation qui permet de réaliser un setup chirurgical très précis, de préparer des gouttières de repositionnement et de fabriquer des plaques d'ostéosynthèse. Le protocole de prise en charge orthodontico-chirurgicale par aligneurs utilisé par le premier auteur sera décrit en détail. Matériels et méthodesLes auteurs présentent, au travers des cas cliniques exposés, les progrès réalisés en chirurgie orthognathique grâce à la 3D et au système des gouttières thermoformées Invisalign®. RésultatsEn observant les trois cas cliniques présentés, on peut constater que la durée moyenne de traitement était bien inférieure à la durée moyenne des protocoles orthodontico-chirurgicaux traditionnels. |

| Summary, etc. | IntroductionDigital dental technologies for design, simulation and fabrication are constantly evolving. It is possible to digitally simulate dental movements, as well as displacements of both arches and to produce thermoformed splints manufactured from this simulation. ObjectiveThe authors present the coupling of intraoral 3D scanning with low-dose radiation 3D radiography that allows for a very precise surgical setup, preparation of repositioning aligners, and fabrication of osteosynthesis plates. The orthodontic-surgical management protocol with aligners used by the first author will be described in detail. Materials and MethodsThe authors present, through clinical cases, the progress made in orthognathic surgery thanks to 3D and the Invisalign® thermoformed tray system. ResultsLooking at the three clinical cases presented, it can be seen that the average treatment time was much less than the average time for usual orthodontic-surgical protocols. |
