Summary, etc. | IntroductionL’objectif de cette série de cas était de montrer comment une seule mini-vis pouvait être utilisée pour traiter simultanément ou successivement l’inclusion canine et différentes malocclusions. Matériel et méthodeTrois patients âgés de 13 ans présentant une inclusion canine associée à une malocclusion de classe II ou du sens vertical ont été traités avec la même mini-vis tout au long du traitement. Les mini-vis ont été placées en palatin, en mésial de la première molaire et ont été utilisées comme ancrage direct ou indirect selon la phase du traitement. ConclusionPour chaque cas, un traitement satisfaisant a été obtenu avec correction de la supraclusion, de la malocclusion de classe II et de l’inclusion canine. Les premières étapes du traitement étaient esthétiques pour le patient et ne nécessitaient pas de coopération puisqu’elles ont été réalisées sans boîtiers antérieurs et reposaient entièrement sur l’utilisation de la mini-vis. |

Summary, etc. | IntroductionThe objective of this case series was to show how only one miniscrew can be used to treat simultaneously or successively canine impaction and different malocclusions. Material and MethodThree patients aged of 13 years old who had malocclusions, such as Class II, overbite and canine impaction, were each one treated with the same miniscrew throughout the treatment period. Palatal miniscrews were placed mesially to the first molar and used as a direct or indirect anchorage depending on the moment of the treatment. ConclusionIn each case, satisfactory treatment was obtained with correction of overbite, class II malocclusion and canine impaction. The first steps of treatment were aesthetic for the patient and did not require patient cooperation. |
