| Summary, etc. | RésuméParmi les différentes acceptions du « management hors-sujet », cet article défend l’idée que le management devrait prendre ses distances d’un sujet dont sa mission l’oblige à influencer les comportements. Même si tout pousse à mettre le sujet au centre de l’action managériale, il existe de sérieuses impasses à cette approche. Prendre ses distances vis-à-vis du sujet reviendrait à donner une place plus importante aux autres, au temps et à d’autres approches de la vie sociale qui en révèlent plus de nuances et de subtilité. |

| Summary, etc. | Management beyond the subjectAbstractAmongst the many ways of understanding and approaching « the management beyond the subject », this article argues that management as a social science should keep distance from the subject as a person. Its mission is to influence the subject’s behavior. Even though most current approaches of management tend to position the subject-person-actor at the core of any managerial action, there may be the risk of a deadlock. To keep away from the subject might concretely mean that management takes care of the Other, of time in an approach of the social life that is more subtle. |
