| Summary, etc. | À travers leurs tâtonnements, essais et erreurs, les « équipes pastorales » sur le terrain paroissial donnent lieu à une Église plus participative, aussi bien en vertu de la coresponsabilité baptismale de tous que de la collaboration ministérielle de quelques-uns. Le défi majeur est de trouver la juste articulation entre le ministère ordonné du curé et le statut des autres membres de ces équipes. D’où la question du « partage » de la charge pastorale entre le curé et les autres membres. Cette question se double d’une autre : la charge pastorale se déclinant dans les tria munera — la triple fonction d’enseignement, de sanctification et de gouvernement —, comment les membres laïcs de ces équipes participent-ils à ces trois fonctions ? L’auteur se propose d’apporter quelques éclaircissements théologiques et canoniques. Il s’agira d’abord de préciser cette expression de « charge pastorale », condition préalable pour aborder les deux points suivants : la question du titulaire de la charge pastorale et celle de sa finalité. Cela permettra enfin de voir ce qu’il en est canoniquement parlant du « partage » de la charge pastorale. |

| Summary, etc. | Through their tentative experiments, trials and errors, “pastoral teams” on the ground in parishes give room for a more participative Church both by virtue of the baptismal co-responsibility of all and the ministerial collaboration of some. The major challenge is to find the right articulation between the ordained ministry of the parish priest and the status of the other members of these teams. Hence the question of the “sharing” of pastoral responsibility between the parish priest and the other members. This question is linked with another : as pastoral responsibility is divided into the tria munera — the threefold function of teaching, sanctifying and governing —, how do the lay members of these teams participate in these three functions ? The author proposes to bring in some theological and canonical clarifications. First it is a matter of specifying this expression “pastoral responsibility”, a prior condition to tackling the two following points : the question of who bears the title of pastoral responsibility and the question of its purpose. This, then, will allow us to see what the “sharing” of pastoral responsibility is about canonically speaking. |
