Summary, etc. | Cette contribution propose de s’intéresser au syndicalisme comme activité. Une intervention en psychologie du travail (plus particulièrement en clinique de l’activité) impliquant un groupe de syndicalistes a été menée au sein d’une section départementale d’un syndicat des enseignants dans la perspective de développer leur pouvoir d’agir. Après plus de deux ans de travail du groupe, l’intervention s’est arrêtée subitement, au moment où les débats sur des possibles transformations s’engageaient. C’est en voulant comprendre cette interruption et les obstacles rencontrés tout au long de l’intervention qu’est apparue une particularité de l’organisation du travail : son flou. Or ce flou serait la conséquence de certains principes qui ont fondé le syndicat, rendant alors les possibilités de transformation difficilement envisageables. |

Summary, etc. | This paper is about unionism considered as a work activity. In a developmental perspective of the acting power, an intervention in occupational psychology (more specifically within Activity Clinic) was led in a county branch of a teacher’s union. After more than two years of work, the intervention stopped when debates were at a point of discussing transformation’s possibilities. While trying to understand this cessation, specificity in union’s work organization appeared, its fuzziness. This could be consequences of founding principles of trade unionism, making transformations difficult to consider. |
