| Summary, etc. | Cet article porte sur la période de l’Indochine à l’heure de Vichy et plus spécifiquement sur la manière dont une réforme de caractère technique, portant sur les compétences des diverses juridictions, se transforme en une remise en cause profonde des fondamentaux de la colonisation française. Préparée dans la ligne idéologique de la Révolution nationale voulue en métropole, cette réforme, méconnaissant les particularités juridiques et sociales de la colonisation, ne verra jamais le jour. L’étude de ce cas concret, permettra de mettre en évidence l’impact juridique du contexte colonial sur la moindre tentative de réforme |

| Summary, etc. | This paper focuses on the pro-Vichy French Indochina period, and more specifically on how a technical reform, which is about the different courts’ jurisdictions, becomes a deep questioning of the French colonization’s basements. Elaborated regarding the Vichy ideology, this reform didn’t notice the legal and social particularities of the colonization, and therefore was not put into practice. This study allows to reveal the legal impact of the colonial context on any attempt to reform in general. |
