| Summary, etc. | La violence gestionnaire pénètre aujourd’hui l’espace de l’hôpital psychiatrique. Les professionnels de santé sont en première ligne des transformations gestionnaires de l’hôpital et les usagers sont tout autant concernés. À partir d’une enquête de terrain d’une année au sein de deux établissements psychiatriques ainsi que d’une centaine d’entretiens avec des professionnels de santé et des usagers de la psychiatrie publique hospitalière, cet article décrit, dans une perspective clinique de l’activité, le processus de renouvellement de l’emprise psychiatrique. Il témoigne de la manière dont se construit une frontière entre soignants et usagers et ouvre des perspectives en matière de sortie de ce processus mortifère. |

| Summary, etc. | Managerial violence is now entering the psychiatric hospital space. Healthcare professionals are at the forefront of the managerial changes to hospitals, and users are concerned too. Based on a one-year field survey in two psychiatric institutions and about one hundred interviews with healthcare professionals and users of public hospital psychiatry, this article describes, from a clinical perspective, the process of renewing psychiatric control. It demonstrates the way in which a boundary is constructed between caregivers and care-receivers and opens up prospects for ending this deadly process. |
