| Summary, etc. | Les lieux de transmission de la psychanalyse diffusent l’idée qu’une analyse en libéral ne saurait être complètement gratuite. Celle-ci est sous-tendue par le présupposé économique hégémonique que le prix (même faible) investi garantit l’implication des patients dans leur travail analytique. La référence à la valeur d’une analyse chez Freud est ambiguë car elle recouvre deux niveaux hétérogènes (matériel et symbolique) qui recoupent les positions dissymétriques de l’analyste et du patient. Il convient dans ce travail d’éprouver cette limite. Par la suite, le modèle du don chez Marcel Mauss pourrait constituer un cadre heuristique pour le ou la psychanalyste qui voudra proposer une cure gratuite. Cette réflexion se propose comme une propédeutique qui puisse permettre des discussions d’ordre épistémologique et pratique. |

| Summary, etc. | Discourse about psychoanalysis suggests that an analysis with a consultant should not be completely free. This is underpinned by the hegemonic economic presupposition that the fee paid (even if it is low) guarantees the involvement of the patient in their psychoanalytic process. Freud’s reference to the value of an analysis is ambiguous because it covers two heterogeneous levels (the material and the symbolic) which intersect with the asymmetrical positions of the analyst and the patient. Marcel Mauss’s later gift theory could constitute a heuristic framework for the psychoanalyst who wishes to offer free treatment. This article takes the form of a propaedeutic reflection intended to open up discussions of an epistemological and practical nature. |
