| Summary, etc. | Cet article traite de la presse francophone en Chine. Il s’interroge notamment sur les enjeux politiques véhiculés par cette presse. Celleci est l’un des principaux vecteurs des échanges intellectuels entre les deux nations. Sous des dehors amicaux, la presse témoigne cependant d’influences concurrentes entre la Chine et la France. La Chine étant un pays semi-colonisé, la presse devient le fil rouge de la lutte anticolonial qui réunit la Chine et l’Indochine. Enfin, certains journaux français en Chine réagissent aux événements politiques qui affectent les territoires français et chinois, des luttes internes au Guomindang à la Seconde Guerre mondiale. |

| Summary, etc. | This article deals with the French-language press in China. In particular, it examines the political stakes conveyed by this press. The press is one of the main vehicles for intellectual exchange between the two nations. Although the press may appear friendly, it is also a sign of competing influences between China and France. China being a semi-colonized country, the press became the common thread in the anti-colonial struggle that united China and Indochina. Finally, some French newspapers in China reacted to political events affecting French and Chinese territories, from internal struggles within the Guomindang to the Second World War. |
