| Summary, etc. | In his text L’ordre des sexes (1983), Eugène Enríquez explores the foundations of the primacy of male domination. The inferior and dominated status of women, a universal, transhistorical and transcultural observation, warrants an inquiry into the origin of this attribution. To this end, in this article we first look at the current incarnations of male domination based on violence against women’s bodies, and then, following in the footsteps of Eugéne Enríquez, we explore the theoretical resources (mainly psychoanalytical in nature) capable of shedding light on the foundations of this domination. Finally, based on an analysis of the sexual division of labor, both productive and reproductive, we will examine feminist ethics of care as a political power that transforms domination. |

| Summary, etc. | Dans son texte « L’ordre des sexes » (1983), Eugène Enríquez explore les fondements de la primauté de la domination masculine. Le statut inférieur et dominé de la femme, observation universelle, transhistorique et transculturelle, impose d’interroger l’origine de cette attribution. Pour ce faire, l’article aborde tout d’abord les variations actuelles de la domination des hommes fondées sur la violence contre le corps des femmes, puis, en suivant la voie traçée par Eugène Enriquez, il explore les ressources théoriques, essentiellement psychanalytiques, pouvant éclairer les fondements de cette domination. Enfin, en appui sur l’analyse de la division sexuelle du travail, à la fois productif et reproductif, l’article présente l’éthique féministe du soin comme puissance politique transformative des dominations. |
