| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose de vérifier si le gouvernement fédéral brésilien disposait des instruments de politique publique nécessaires et suffisants pour éviter l’augmentation significative de la déforestation illégale en Amazonie, de plus de 60% sur la période allant d’août 2018 à juillet 2021, sans qu’il ait été nécessaire de modifier réglementation en vigueur. Il analyse à cet effet le Plan d’action pour la prévention et le contrôle de la déforestation en Amazonie légale (PPCDAm) ainsi que les outils normatifs et de gestion prévus dans le décret fédéral n° 6.321/2007, ou encore dans la politique des municipalités prioritaires, et identifie les actions qui n’ont pas été mises en œuvre. |

| Summary, etc. | The present work investigates whether existing Brazil’s Federal rules and policy instruments were enough to avoid a recent increase of more than 60% of Amazon rainforest illegal deforestation between August 2018 and July 2001. It analyzes the “PPCDAm – Plano de Ação para a Prevenção e Controle de Desmatamento da Amazônia Legal” (Action Plan for the Prevention and Control of Deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest), focusing on norms and management tools present in Federal Decree n° 6.321/2007, specially on policies tailored for priority municipalities, this analysis identifies which actions lacked implementation and its consequences. |

Analiza el “Plan para la Prevención y Control de la Deforestación en la Amazonía Legal”, enfocando el estudio en las normas y herramientas dispuestas por el Decreto Federal N° 6.321/2007, especialmente en relación con los municipios. El estudio identifica las consecuencias de las acciones que no fueron realizadas. |

Para tanto, analisa-se o Plano de Ação para a Prevenção e Controle do Desmatamento na Amazônia Legal (PPCDAm), focando nas ferramentas normativas e de gestão previstas no Decreto Federal n° 6.321/2007, em especial na política dos municípios prioritários, identificando as ações que deixaram de ser implementadas. |
