| Summary, etc. | Résumé La révolution de 1868 constitue un moment d’expérimentation politique central pour les carlistes espagnols. Traditionnellement opposés à l’existence d’un parlement souverain élu par le peuple, la liberté politique nouvelle les incite à entrer dans le jeu parlementaire. Entre 1868 et 1872, ils participent aux élections, ce qui conduit à une modification de leurs pratiques politiques. Cependant, la tradition insurrectionnelle de ce mouvement finit par reprendre le dessus et les carlistes reprennent le chemin de la guerre civile en 1872. |

| Summary, etc. | The revolution of 1868 constituted the moment of a crucial political experimentation for the carlists. Traditionally opposed to the existence of a sovereign parliament elected by the people, the new political freedom led them to enter into the parliamentary game. Between 1868 and 1872, they participated to the elections, which led to a transformation of their political practices. Nevertheless, the tradition of uprising of this movement finally won again and the carlists turned into the direction of civil war once again in 1872. |
