| Summary, etc. | L’article rend compte d’une série de réunions publiques organisées pour débattre, avec l’aide d’experts, des schémas de mobilité urbaine d’une métropole régionale française. Comme souvent, la participation des femmes est faible et leurs voix sont inaudibles dans les débats. Cette invisibilité des femmes n’est pas mesurée. Ce papier propose une expérimentation de modes d’observation des inégalités femmes hommes au sein d’un débat public s’étendant sur plusieurs mois. Il cherche à saisir si le fait que les femmes prennent peu la parole dans l’espace public contribue ou non à influencer la décision publique dans le cadre local sur des sujets tels que la ville durable, les mobilités urbaines, l’urbanité. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper gives an account of a series of public meetings on the problems of urban mobilities. Participation by women is weak ; their voice is not heard. This invisibility of the women is not measured. This paper proposes a method for observing the inequalities between women and men in public debate. It shows that the absence of women has consequences on the new ideologies that are building the town of tomorrow. The “sustainable city” does not solve inequalities between women and men in the city. |
