Cet article étudie le socle de résonance de l’existence, de l’esthétique et de la philosophie, dans le but de mettre en évidence et de décrire une structure anthropologique. Les accumulations de sources, l’insistance de la rétention, à laquelle est attribuée l’ouverture de la protention, désignent la mélancolie de l’œuvre, dont le dernier mouvement fuit la pesanteur dans le suicide, exemple rare d’une écriture qui se donne la mort. |

| Summary, etc. | The Requiem for a Young Poet, a monumental work by the German composer Bernd Alois Zimmermann (1918-1970), includes a great number of musical, literary, poetic and philosophical references and testifies to a conception of temporality inspired by St. Augustine’s Confessions and Husserl’s On the phenomenology of the consciousness of internal time. This article would like to examine this foundation of existential, esthetic and philosophical resonances in order to show and describe its anthropological structure. The accumulation of sources, the insistence on retention, which opens way for protention, designate the melancholy tone of the work, whose final movement escapes the heaviness through suicide, a rare example of writing which chooses its own death. |
