Différents travaux articulent traumatisme et trouble somatique autour de trois grandes hypothèses : pour l’une, le trouble somatique constitue en soi un traumatisme pour le sujet ; pour l’autre, le trouble est déterminé par un traumatisme (réel comme psychique) ; pour la dernière, enfin, le trouble somatique convoie un trauma en quête d’inscription subjectivante. Ces lectures sont-elles antagonistes et/ou incompatibles entre elles ? En regard de la diversité des facettes du traumatisme, les auteurs invitent à penser l’hypothèse d’une circularité psychosomatique entre traumatisme (psychique comme physique) et trouble somatique. |

| Summary, etc. | Psychosomatic circularity and traumas. In several studies, trauma and somatic troubles are considered from three main hypothetical positions. According to the first one, the somatic trouble itself constitutes a trauma for the person. In the second one, the somatic trouble results from a trauma (whether it be real or psychic). The last hypothesis suggests that the somatic trouble is the vehicle for a trauma in search of a subjective inscription. Are these various points of view antagonistic or incompatible with each other? When taking the numerous faces of trauma into account, the authors lead us to consider the hypothesis of psychosomatic circularity between trauma (both psychic and physical) and somatic troubles. |

| Summary, etc. | Resumen Circularidad psicosomática y traumatismo. Diferentes trabajos articulan traumatismo y trastorno somàtico en torno a tres grandes hipótesis : para una, el trastorno somàtico constituye en sí mismo un traumatismo para el sujeto, para la otra, el trastorno es determinado por un traumatismo (real o psíquico) y para una tercera, el trastorno somàtico implica un trauma en búsqueda de inscripción subjetivante. ¿ Son estas lecturas antagónicas y/o incompatibles entre ellas ? Considerando la diversidad de las facetas del traumatismo, los autores invitan a pensar la hipótesis de una circularidad psicosomàtica entre traumatismo (tanto psíquico como físico) y trastorno somàtico. |
