| Summary, etc. | Partant de l’analyse d’un phénomène appelé tarentisme, rite « thérapeutique » désormais disparu prétendant soigner des femmes qui se disaient atteintes par la morsure d’une tarentule, l’auteure essaye de tracer un profil psycho-anthropologique de ce phénomène et de montrer comment on peut en saisir, dans ces manifestations « primordiales », non seulement l’aspect psychopathologique mais aussi un rôle institutionnel, régulateur du désordre psychique, reconnu et partagé par la collectivité. Cela permet de dévoiler une cohérence culturelle entre manifestations pathologiques et système de traitement, ainsi qu’une cohérence interprétative entre sujet et groupe d’appartenance. En s’attachant à une double référence théorique, psychanalytique principalement mais aussi anthropologique, l’auteure essaye d’éclairer les valences intrapsychiques et groupales du rite du tarentisme, et à l’aide de l’étude clinique du protocole de Rorschach d’une adolescente tarentulée, elle en relève les dynamiques psychiques particulières s’exprimant surtout par le corps. Ce qui la conduit aussi à une réflexion sur la valeur d’une perspective ethnologique dans la pratique des projectifs, qui s’ouvre aux visions culturelles des sujets testés, nécessaire pour conférer à ces instruments un sens véritablement éthique et universel. |

| Summary, etc. | The influence of anthropological and cultural factors in psychopathology: a projective approach based on an experience in ItalyStarting from the analysis of a phenomenon called tarentism, a therapeutic ritual no longer employed but which was supposed to treat women who believed they had been bitten by a tarantula, the author attempts to establish a psycho-anthropological profile of this phenomenon focusing not only on its pathological aspects but also on its institutional function as a commonly recognized regulator of psychic disorder, recognized and shared by the group. By such a method, we can reveal a cultural coherence between the pathological manifestations and the system of treatment, as well as an interpretive coherence between the subject and the group to which she belonged. Using a double theoretical reference, mostly psychoanalytical but also anthropological, the author sheds light on the intrapsychic and group valences in the tarentism ritual. Through the clinical analysis of the protocole of an adolescent girl who was afflicted with tarantulism, the author shows the particular psychic dynamics expressed by the body. This leads her to a reflection about the value of an ethnological perspective in projective work, open to the cultural visions of the subjects who are tested, and which is necessary if we wish to confer a true ethical and universal relevance to such instruments. |

| Summary, etc. | La influencia de factores antropológicos y culturales en psicología: una mirada proyectiva a partir de una experiencia en ItaliaPartiendo del análisis del fenómeno llamado tarantismo, rito “terapéutico”, hoy desaparecido, que pretendía curar a mujeres que habían sido afectadas por la mordedura de una tarántula, la autora intenta trazar un perfil psico-antropológico de tal fenómeno y mostrar de qué modo pueden ser captados, en estas manifestaciones “primordiales”, no solamente el aspecto psicopatológico sino también el rol institucional, regulador del desorden psíquico, reconocido y compartido por la colectividad. Ello permite establecer una coherencia cultural entre manifestaciones patológicas y sistema de tratamiento, así como una coherencia interpretativa entre el sujeto y el grupo de pertenencia. Respetando una doble referencia teórica, principalmente psicoanalítica pero también antropológicas, la autora propone una mirada sobre las valencias intra-psíquicas y grupales del rito de tarantismo, y apoyándose en el estudio clínico del protocolo de Rorschach de una adolescente tarantulada, pone el acento en las dinámicas psíquicas particulares expresadas principalmente por el cuerpo. Lo que lleva también a la autora a una reflexión sobre el valor de una perspectiva etnológica en la practica de las pruebas proyectivas, que abre a los aspectos culturales de los sujetos examinados, apertura necesaria para poder dar a estos instrumentos un sentido verdaderamente ético y universal. |
