| Summary, etc. | Diffusée sur la chaîne Canal + entre 2007 et 2009, la série Reporters met en scène le quotidien de deux rédactions d’information générale. Le spectateur suit dès lors les péripéties des journalistes, entre faits divers et investigations. Cependant, si la série s’attache pour l’essentiel aux journalistes, elle ne manque pas non plus de peindre le monde politique et ses différents acteurs. Ainsi les deux saisons consacrent une large partie de leurs intrigues à l’ascension de Jacques Barlier, ambitieux ministre de l’Intérieur convoitant Matignon et de son conseiller en communication, Christian Janssen. Cette trajectoire exemplaire du parcours d’un homme politique permet à la série d’investir le champ des séries dites politiques, abordant bien évidemment la collusion entre pouvoir et journalisme, mais dévoilant également les stratégies de communication des cabinets ministériels. Le présent article se propose, par le biais d’un double corpus composé d’entretiens originaux et d’une étude de contenu, d’étudier la description et vision des politiciens et de la politique dans la série de Capa Drama. Il s’agit ainsi dans un premier temps de parvenir à cerner et analyser le « monde de l’art » de la production télévisée, ses spécificités, puis dans un second temps d’envisager la mise en scène de la politique et de ses procédés, par le prisme des intrigues proprement dites. |

| Summary, etc. | Broadcast on the French channel Canal + between 2007 and 2009, the fictional series Reporters features the life of two main journalistic media. The viewer follows the adventures of journalists, among spot news to investigations. However, if the series focuses mainly on journalists, it does not fail in rendering the political world and its different actors. Thus, the plots of the two seasons spent a large part focusing on the rise of Jacques Barlier, an ambitious Home Secretary coveting Matignon (the Prime Minister’s Office) and his communications adviser, Christian Janssen. This exemplary trajectory of the path of a politician allows the series of investing the scope of the so-called political series, obviously addressing collusion between power and journalism, but also revealing the communication strategies of ministerial cabinets. This article aims, consisting through a double corpus of original interviews and a study content, to study the description and the vision of politics and politicians in this series produced by Capa Drama, a division of Capa – a French media organization. To achieve it, the first step of our work is to identify and analyze the “art world” of television production and its characteristics, and then in a second time to consider the staging of politics and its processes through the prism of plots stories. |
