| Summary, etc. | Augmenter la participation aux programmes de dépistage des cancers des publics féminins non-participants constitue l’objectif des acteurs institutionnels sanitaires. Mais qu’en est-il du sens que les femmes accordent à ces pratiques et aux campagnes qui les accompagnent ? Telle est la question qui guide l’article à travers une étude en réception des campagnes de dépistage des cancers. Les premiers résultats d’une enquête ethnographique menée en Ile-de-France auprès de femmes dites en situation socioéconomique défavorisée ainsi qu’une analyse des contributions citoyennes postées sur la plateforme de concertation du cancer du sein permettent d’aborder les formes d’appropriation des discours institutionnels assurant la promotion du dépistage par les publics féminins au travers de leur expérience. L’appropriation oscille finalement entre adhésion, négociation et opposition, et relève de significations socialement différenciées. |

| Summary, etc. | Increasing the participation in cancers screening programs for non-participant female audiences is the goal of institutional health actors. What about the meaning women give to these practices and the campaigns which promote them? That’s the question that guide the article through the study of cancer screening campaigns’ reception among women. The first results of an ethnological study carried out in Ile-de-France among underprivileged women and an analysis of some on-line contributions posted as part of the French consultation with the citizens on breast cancer issue make possible to approach how they appropriate institutional discourse promoting screening according to their own experience. Appropriation finally oscillates between adherence, negotiation and opposition, and comes from socially differentiated meanings. |
