| Summary, etc. | Cet article s’intéresse à l’émergence du point de vue généralement invisible de jeunes sortant de la protection de l’enfance, au travers d’une recherche participative sur la transition à l’âge adulte. Cet article porte la focale sur le processus de pluralisation identitaire à l’œuvre dans cette recherche, en lien avec une évolution de la division du travail entre les universitaires et les co-chercheur·es qui font l’apprentissage de nouveaux rôles dans l’enquête, mais aussi en dehors, les amenant à construire des organisations collectives d’entraide, parallèlement à un engagement dans le débat législatif. L’article s’intéresse aussi au risque de réassignation identitaire, avec des chercheur·es pairs ramené·es sans cesse à leur identité de « jeunes placé·es » et des universitaires rappelées à leur tâche traditionnelle d’écriture. |

| Summary, etc. | This article focuses on the emergence of the generally invisible point of view of young people leaving care, through participatory research on the transition to adulthood. It focuses on the process of identity pluralization at work in this research, in connection with an evolution of the division of labor between researchers and co-researchers, with the latter learning new roles within the investigation, but also outside it, leading them to build collective mutual aid organizations, alongside a commitment to the legislative debate. This article is also interested in the risk of identity reassignment, with peer researchers constantly brought back to their identity as young people in care, and researchers recalled to their traditional task of writing. |
