| Summary, etc. | Cet article s’intéresse aux récentes évolutions de la politique d’intégration des personnes étrangères en France, en particulier à la priorité donnée à l’emploi des réfugié·es. À partir d’une enquête ethnographique menée dans un organisme auquel est déléguée la mise en œuvre de cet objectif, il analyse le travail d’intégration tel qu’il est réalisé par l’organisme et prescrit aux réfugié·es. La start-up leur dispense, outre des cours de langue, une formation aux « compétences relationnelles » qui enjoint les immigrant·es à se conformer à une série de normes comportementales – dont le respect conditionnerait leur entrée et leur maintien sur le marché du travail. |

| Summary, etc. | This article tackles the recent changes in French policy on the integration of foreigners, focusing on the priority given to refugees’ employment. Building on an ethnographic investigation of an organization charged with pursuing this goal, the article analyzes the integration work performed by the organization and mandated for the refugees. The start-up offers the refugees language classes but also training in “soft skills,” through which the immigrants are enjoined to comply with a series of behavioral norms supposedly essential to their entrance to and success in the labor market. |
