520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Neonatal pain has only been recognized in the 1980s. Studies conducted since have consistently shown that painful stimuli increase the risk of long-term adverse neuro-developmental outcome of neonates and premature infants. The conference of the Neonatal Unit in Erasme Hospital (ULB-Brussels) held in February 2021 aimed at exploring different aspects of pain in neonates, its prevention and advances in pain management.
