Summary, etc. | The current research focuses on the natural products and secondary metabolites that have shown a great potential in the treatment of human diseases. This objective of this study is the phytochemical analysis and determination of antibacterial effect of aqueous and methanolic root extracts obtained from two plants Zizyphus lotus L. and Glycyrrhiza glabra L. against a range of human pathogenic bacteria. The results showed that the aqueous extract from Zizyphus lotus and Glycyrrhiza glabra recorded a significantly higher yield (09.49 ± 0.1 and 08.93 ± 0.1%, respectively) (P Helicobacter pylori, one of the factors of gastric ulcer, and a large inhibition zone on Helicobacter pylori was recorded with the aqueous extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra(30.50 ± 0.70 mm). These results support the traditional use of these plants in the treatment of bacterial infections. |

Summary, etc. | Une grande partie de l'intérêt des recherches actuelles porte sur l'étude des produits naturels et des métabolites secondaires, qui ont montré un grand potentiel dans le traitement des maladies humaines. L'objectif de cette étude est l'analyse phytochimique ainsi que la détermination de l'effet antibactérien des extraits aqueux et méthanoliques obtenus à partir des racines de deux plantes, Zizyphus lotus L. et Glycyrrhiza glabraL.,vis-à-vis d'une gamme de bactéries pathogènes de l'homme. Les résultats obtenus montrent que les extraits aqueux de Zizyphus lotus et Glycyrrhiza glabra ont enregistré des rendements d'extraction (09,49 ± 0,1 et 08,93 ± 0,1 % respectivement) significativement (p Helicobacter pylori, l'un des facteurs de l'ulcère gastrique, la grande zone d'inhibition d’Helicobacter pylori a été enregistrée avec l'extrait aqueux de Glycyrrhiza glabra (30,50 ± 0,70 mm). Ces résultats obtenus appuient l'utilisation traditionnelle de ces plantes dans le traitement de certaines infections bactériennes. |
